"Witnesses reportedly saw a pistol on his waistband during the incident, which occurred after school on Aug. 22, a possible indication he had the weapon with him at school, authorities said. It's unclear whether the boy was charged, as juvenile court filings are given privacy protections under state law. The same boy was previously involved in a police investigation back in April, when suspected teen gang members showed up to the school looking to fight him, authorities said."
