My New York City bathroom is pretty tiny - I don't even have a proper vanity! But as someone who loves to try out all kinds of different beauty products, I knew I'd need to bring some sort of storage piece into the space. While my medicine cabinet is great for daily skincare items and vitamins, it's certainly not large enough to house my sizable collection of blushes, sunscreens, travel-sized toiletries, and the like.
The client was inspired to make a change because "90% of the storage space in the bathroom was being used inefficiently," shares Miyasaki. She describes the before as "a mess," with nothing categorized and drawers and under-the-sink storage not being utilized. With a budget of $450 (not including service fees), in six short hours, she was able to transform this space.
