Don Lemon finds it ironic that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is dismantling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs within the military, considering Hegseth himself is a DEI hire, the ex-CNN star said. Lemon, during an appearance on Dan Abrams' SiriusXM show on Tuesday, made it clear he was not a fan of the new military agenda Hegseth outlined earlier in the morning, while giving a speech to top commanders at Quantico.
While the interview began on a calm note, things quickly became heated after Lemon was asked about his involuntary departure from CNN a few years ago. After Lemon remarked, I don't believe in canceling people, Morgan questioned, Do you feel you were a victim of cancel culture at CNN? Um, I probably, answered Lemon. Probably yes. I'm sure that I was a victim of cancel culture.
A judge ruled that Don Lemon's lawsuit against Elon Musk and X can proceed to trial, allowing the majority of claims to go forward despite the defendants' arguments to dismiss the case.
