Honor will launch the Magic8 series soon, and the devices will be powered by Qualcomm's recently unveiled Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. If you were wondering how well it would perform, no need to wonder anymore, as Honor's Li Kun has shared the Magic8's AnTuTu results on Weibo earlier today. As you can see from the screenshot below, the phone managed a total score of 4,166,339 in AnTuTu v11.
Honor has yet to reveal an exact launch date for the Magic8 series, but the lineup is confirmed to debut sometime between October and December this year. Meanwhile, live images of the base Magic8 in the Sky Blue Glaze edition have surfaced online. The Magic8 series in the Sky Blue Glaze finish appears to have a unique pattern on the rear panel that becomes visible when light reflects off it.

While that hasn't been officially confirmed, Honor CEO James Li revealed that MagicOS 10 will have deep AI integration and will be able to automate many tasks.
The flagship series will offer powerful hardware that will use AI to deliver optimum performance when needed, Honor CEO James Li explained in a Weibo post. He added that the Magic8 series will run MagicOS 10 with a SOTA-level MagicGUI large language model. MagicOS 10 will offer deeper AI integration that can automate a wide range of tasks. The Magic8 series will also bring improved ecosystem integration.
