Officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Westbourne Road at 1.02pm. Met Police officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance. A 15-year-old boy was treated by paramedics for a stab wound at the scene before being taken to hospital. He later died in hospital despite best efforts of medical staff. The teenager's family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The incident happened on Holloway Road at the junction with Madras Place, Islington in the early hours of Sunday, June 22. During the altercation at around 3.30am, one of the victims fell backwards and received injuries to her head before the suspect fled the scene.
