Every summer, the neighborhood throws its own smaller-scale LGBTQ+ Pride event separate from the city's main annual parade taking place this weekend. It's just one of more than 200 Pride events taking place in Germany this year.

Now in its 26th year, the race forms part of the Spanish capital's LGBTQ+ Pride Week and draws large crowds to the cobbled streets.

The rainbow crosswalk symbolizes inclusivity and joy, representing the pride of the LGBTQ+ community while also transforming a public space into a vibrant celebration.

The Fern Alley Music Series celebrates music, art, and culture, uniting the community through vibrant events that showcase local talent and creativity.
