If your primary goal for home shopping is to find something that makes a statement, then Anthropologie should be at the top of your list. While the retailer is perhaps better known for its clothing, its furniture and decor selection is top-notch - particularly if your style leans eclectic or maximalist. That's why we added Anthropologie's rugs to our Personal Shopper series, where we visit the storefronts of our favorite brands to test out their offerings in person.
Although it might not be the first brand to come to mind, CB2 should be on your list - especially if your style leans bold and contemporary. CB2's rug collection is full of gorgeous designs, natural materials (most are made of wool), and rich colors, which makes it easy for you to find the perfect statement piece to anchor whatever room you're decorating.
It's known for its neutral colorways and "clean" aesthetic, and focuses more on timeless, unfussy designs rather than trends. While it's probably best known for its seating and kitchenware, Crate & Barrel also has an excellent rug selection. The majority of its rugs are made of natural materials like wool, jute, and sisal, but there's also a good variety of performance rugs. Unsurprisingly, you'll find tons of neutral options in gray, beige, and white, but there are some colorful patterned rugs in there, too.
