I'm not the slightest bit concerned about it, and I don't think about it, Kerr said. I think it makes perfect sense, and I think that however it ends, it's going to be done in a really quality way. It's going to happen in the right way. If it's meant for me to keep going, I'm going to keep going, Kerr continued. If it's meant to be for the team to move on to somebody else, there will be nothing but gratitude and appreciation. This makes it easy for everybody. Let's just see where we are at the end of the year.

"I'm very comfortable going into the season with a year left," Kerr said. "I'm so aligned with [general manager] Mike [Dunleavy] and [owner] Joe [Lacob]. We talked about this -- there's no reason for discussion or concern. This is kind of a point in our relationship where let's just see how it is at the end of the year."

Kuminga has been linked to a number of contract offers from the Warriors, including a two-year, $45 million deal with a team option in the second year that was reported by ESPN, and trade inquiries with various teams. But the restricted free agent remains in limbo as no official deal has been completed. The former [No. 7 overall pick has until Oct. 1 to pick up his $7.9 million qualifying offer.

At this point, it's year to year, Kerr said. I love my job, and it's so, so much fun. I loved this season, and this was a really gratifying year.
