Needless to say, it does appear that FSD fever is starting to catch in Europe. He noted that this provides a great feedback opportunity from the general public, encouraging participants to record and share their experiences. Tesla "Mad Max" mode has gotten its first bit of regulatory attention, as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has asked for additional information on the Speed Profile. Tesla Full Self-Driving just got an insurance offer from Lemonade Co-founder and President Shai Wininger that might be too good to pass up, as he wants to insure vehicles on FSD for "almost free." Traditionally, Tesla vehicles are slightly more expensive to insure with traditional companies because of higher repair costs that stem from their technology and state-of-the-art structural battery design.
