SAN JOSE - Police arrested a man after he allegedly rammed his pickup truck repeatedly into a food truck with multiple employees inside, authorities said. Orlando Rivero, a 27-year-old man from San Jose, was arrested Oct. 30 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism, according to a press release from the San Jose Police Department. He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
Police said a group of suspects crashed a pick-up truck into the Louis Vuitton store on East Walton Street. Cellphone video from a witness captured the moment thieves rammed the vehicle into the luxury store. The video then shows a group of people dressed in dark clothing rush into the store and then run out with stolen items. The people are then seen getting into other vehicles that were either parked nearby or that pulled up.
Novato police arrested 33-year-old David Slattery Friday morning after he crashed his car into the Islamic Center of North Marin and allegedly attacked someone inside the mosque. As KTVU reports, an officer was patrolling the area when he heard a crash on the 7000 block of Redwood Boulevard around 11:30 am Friday and ran to investigate, according to a press release from the department.
