Stefon Diggs, the Patriots receiver recovering from a torn ACL, surprised observers by actively participating in Monday's organized team activities (OTAs) after initially being thought unavailable for the start of the season. NBC Sports Boston's Tom E. Curran noted Diggs's impressive endurance and performance during reps, highlighting his ability to run, cut, and catch the ball effectively. While he was not involved in the most competitive drills, his participation indicates a positive trajectory toward recovery and possible availability for training camp in mid to late July.
I thought it was astounding, this is a guy we didn't think would be available for the beginning of the season, and to see him...taking rep after rep...in 11 on 11.
To me, it's astounding because I'm thinking to myself, 'is he going to be ready for the beginning of the year? I would be surprised if he wasn't available at some juncture during training camp.'
