A 30-year-old security guard was slashed in the neck outside the Palace Skateboard Apparel shop in Lower Manhattan. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when an unidentified suspect attempted to cut the line outside the store. When confronted by the security guard, the suspect attacked him. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive. The suspect, last seen wearing a black hoodie and sweatpants, fled the scene in a car. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
