On a December 10 episode of The Dave Ramsey Show, a caller and realtor from San Francisco shared her uncomfortable situation. Getting married at the end of December, she faces moving into her fiancé's rental where his ex-wife's name remains on the month-to-month lease despite multiple attempts at removal and court orders.

Your children's father is putting you in an inappropriate position that, conveniently, clears him of any responsibility for maintaining the relationships in his life. It's much easier, presumably, to believe the narrative that you're not doing enough to make your daughter available to him, rather than acknowledging the truth: He is perfectly capable of dialing his own phone. Tell him and your daughter that you need to remove yourself from their planning.

Food choices can become a battleground between parents as their children are transitioning between households.

I am a 44-year-old man, with a seven-year-old son. His mother and I are divorced, and I moved out when he was three. We share custody; he is with me three days/nights a week including part of the weekend. He is doing well at school and has varied interests. He is a very happy child and the most precious thing to me.

My boyfriend and I are doing a trial run before we get married. I am renting out my condo and we are renting a house. He has a 10-year-old son with 50-50 custody. We generally get along because I make sure to keep in my place: I am not a parent and make sure that his father is the authority figure. The problem is that his ex-wife thinks she can treat me like an unpaid nanny with zero impact or input.

When she was offered the lead on the show, Paul told " Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper that she had to think long and hard about the filming schedule and its impact on her children before saying yes. "I'm a co-parent. I have two baby daddies, not one, so I'm dealing with two different people; my children, my home base is here. Can I travel that long? Can I be gone that long?" she said she asked herself.

I have two young children, and he refuses to meet them and says he doesn't want to be involved in any child-related activities or even conversation. It makes me really sad as my children are such wonderful little people, but he just doesn't want anything to do with them. I split up with their dad years ago and we co-parent well without any issues.
