Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, east London, was evacuated after a fire broke out in one of its multi-storey car parks on Saturday afternoon. London Fire Brigade (LFB) said it was called to the shopping centre on Montfichet Road just after 16:00 BST. Around 12 vehicles were alight on the second floor of car park C, producing a significant amount of smoke, a spokesperson said.

People have been asked to evacuate Westfield shopping centre in east London following a fire at its multi-storey car park. London Fire Brigade said ten fire engines were in attendance at the shopping centre on Montfichet Road, Stratford. A spokesperson said the fire was "producing a significant amount of smoke" and asked people to avoid the area. They added the shopping centre had been evacuated as a precaution.

Around 150 people were evacuated as a huge fire ripped through a block of flats in south London destroying most of the building. Some 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were called to the fire on Maysoule Road in Battersea on Wednesday evening. A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of CS gas and causing a public nuisance following the partial evacuation of Heathrow Airport on Monday night. Hundreds of people were forced to leave Terminal 4 at about 17:00 BST on Monday, before being allowed back in at about 20:00. No hazardous materials were found but the Metropolitan Police discovered a can of CS spray and London Ambulance Service treated 20 people for "irritation".

No one was injured after a tour bus in Cape Cod was completely engulfed in flames Saturday afternoon, fire crews said. The driver of the bus was able to evacuate all of the passengers before firefighters arrived around noon on Saturday, the Wellfleet Fire Department said. Crews found a bus "fully engulfed in flames, with fire burning in the brush approaching a nearby home." Firefighters knocked the fire out, the department said, and prevented it from spreading to the home.

Four people were taken to hospital after a fire in Richmond Hill Monday morning. York Region police say they were called after 3 a.m. to a home near Skywood Drive and Rollinghill Road.
