PSG are without flying full-back Achraf Hakimi as the Morocco star is suspended so midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery will deputise once more. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is another big loss as the Georgian recovers from injury. Marseille are without a clutch of players but could hand debuts to new signings Himad Abdelli and Tochukwu Nnadi. Midfielders Matt O'Riley and Angel Gomes departed on deadline day for the Premier League.
Maybe we can get some new target for winning our matches in a row, but the priority is to win. If we are winning, we are achieving [the record]. It's not the mentality we have. The mentality we have is to focus on each match with the points we have and the competition we're facing and to get the points we need for our consistency in the top positions in the Premier League.
For Wolves, no Jorgen Strand Larsen in the starting lineup despite his hat-trick against Shrewsbury, and Andre into the team instead of Jhon Arias is the one change from the draw with Everton. Kieran Trippier in for Lewis Miley among four changes in the Newcastle team. Nick Woltemade is back, with Yoane Wissa benched. Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes in, Jacob Ramsey and Jacob Murphy out.
What do you need to know before puck drop? Well, uhhh, the Capitals have been almost unwatchable lately, so let's hope they stop playing poorly. Meanwhile, Jack Hughes is back from his dinner injury and also appears to be dating Tate McRae. I think that covers the important topics.
The Rangers rebounded nicely against Montreal with a nice come from behind win against the Canadiens at MSG, hopefully shaking that curse off the Centennial jerseys. But that's not the story. The story is Chris Kreider's return to MSG for the first time since his offseason trade. Kreider was easily the best clutch playoff performer in Rangers history, and was perhaps underappreciated during his 12 seasons on Broadway. There should be a nice video tribute and hopefully a standing ovation.
