Millions of online content creators rely on YouTube income, driving demand for strategists to help keep videos viral.
This week, TV advertising company Cadent announced that all of its SSP's CTV supply paths are now direct, surpassing the 75% industry benchmark recommended by Jounce Media. Direct supply has been baked into Cadent's SSP since the product three years ago, according to Brian Weigel, SVP of operations. Still, hitting 100% wasn't easy. Cadent had to onboard a range of publishers and supply-chain partners that first had to be vetted by Jounce.
The whole thing began in March of this year, when Proven blasted a 90 second promo clip called "YOU GUYS KEEP SAYING YOU CAN EASILY BREAK OFF OUR LATCH PIN LOCK." In the video, detailed by Ars Technica, a guy in a bald cap takes a sledgehammer to the company's $130 trailer hitch lock, hollering that he will "prove a lot of you haters wrong."

Former Nasa engineer Mark Rober has become the latest YouTube star to get his own Netflix deal. The 45-year-old has more than 70 million subscribers on YouTube and is known for his videos about science and technology. Rober has created a new competition series for the streamer, which he is making with US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel's production company.
