1 month agoWoman found dead in Cork named locally as gardai investigating suspicious death
The woman - a mother of one - was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood suspected blood stains were also found at the scene. The woman had a number of unexplained injuries to her head and had apparently been dead for a number of hours. Her body was found near the stairs in the two storey property which is located in a quiet residential area.

Gardaí have launched an investigation after the bodies of a man and a young child were found in Finglas, Dublin, on Saturday. The bodies of the man and the young girl were found by emergency services after the alarm was raised around 8pm on Saturday night. The bodies were found in a house in the Heathfield Estate in the Cappagh area of Finglas.
