I've read several articles that have been damaging to me. I know I've had bad matches, I'm aware of that. I'm not hiding anything, and I'm open about it. I'm truly sad. You can say many things about me, but under no circumstances can you say I refuse to play. I've given everything and more for this club. I've played through fractures and injuries, and I've never complained or asked for a break.
The Buffalo Bills will continue to be without two starters on defense as both defensive tackle Ed Oliver (left ankle) and linebacker Matt Milano (pectoral) were ruled out of Sunday's game vs. the New Orleans Saints by coach Sean McDermott. Right tackle Spencer Brown (calf) and defensive end AJ Epenesa (pectoral) will be questionable vs. the Saints (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels said he feels good and more like himself -- but that doesn't mean he'll play at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. "It's up to the doctors, not my decision," Daniels said. Daniels was limited in practice Wednesday after not participating last week before sitting out a 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Running back Austin Ekeler and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. both suffered season-ending injuries. Star quarterback Jayden Daniels was diagnosed with a knee sprain, with his status for this weekend's clash against the Las Vegas Raiders now in doubt. Tight end John Bates is likely to miss the game due to a groin injury. After lucking out with availability last season and experiencing very few concerns in Week 1, it's already next man up for the Commanders at multiple positions.
Darnell Mooney. Troy Andersen. Kaleb McGary. Storm Norton. Carlos Washington. Clark Phillips. These are all players who are currently hurt, and because of that, the Atlanta Falcons are in a position where they must make tough decisions as they shape their 53 man roster in the days following the final preseason game. For some players, the decisions are relatively easy. Norton will have to go on short-term injured reserve, more than likely, given that he's out for six-to-eight weeks.
